Casa Roma is the name of an ancient working farm now used exclusively as a winery in the heart of the Piave region. The Peruzzetto family has worked this beautiful land for generations. Today’s winemakers Luigi and Adriano have taken the family business to the next level. The region, known for the varietal Raboso Piave which dates back to the early 7th century, has recently gained attention thanks to Casa Roma and their expressive, organic wines.
The ancient, recently restored winery is in itself an example of the passion of traditional techniques. All winemaking conditions were considered when completing the modern day winery and every attention was paid to detail. However, believing strongly in organic growing and vinification Luigi and Adriano maintained certain antique methods to create authentic, quality wine.
When visiting Casa Roma you are immediately drawn into the excitement the Peruzzetto family has for their land and wine. They teach you about their vines, rare varietals and winemaking process with such enthusiasm you feel they too are discovering Casa Roma for the first time. They love their work and it shows. At Casa Roma history definitely repeats itself.
