Modeano is located in a small agricultural village of the same name on the Friulian Riviera, halfway between Venice and Trieste.

Gabriele Vialetto and his wife, Emanuela, have cultivated the family vineyards in Modeano since 1982, when they purchased the land shortly after getting married. The cultivation of vineyards in this area dates back to Roman times but Modeano was transformed by Norberto Marzotto. At the beginning of the twentieth century, he was responsible for the relaunch of wine production in the area and the construction of the town’s cellar, school and church of the Madonna del Rosario.

The company headquarters are located in the Villa Bertuzzi-Ferrari, and are surrounded by a park full of centuries-old trees and the company’s vineyards, covering an area of 32 hectares, where 13 grape varietals are cultivated and used in production.
